Karolinska Development
Karolinska Development’s portfolio comprises 45 companies running across a broad range of therapeutic areas. At present, 7 compounds are in Phase II clinical trials. The portfolio management process ensures that only projects with the potential to fulfill an unmet medical need, and with strong commercial potential, are continued. The portfolio is well diversified across various therapeutic areas and well balanced with projects in different development phases. Karolinska Development estimates that 21 projects have potential first in class possibilities. The projects within the portfolio are targeting several of the largest therapeutic areas including cardiovascular, oncology and dermatology and wound healing.
