Women's Health
Within women’s health, a number of medical needs are currently being poorly addressed, such as therapies for
premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD). In conjunction with childbirth, one fifth of women experience protracted
labor, increasing the risk to mother and child. Karolinska Development’s companies Umecrine Mood and Dilafor are
developing pharmaceuticals for these markets.
